Offseason

So far in the Free Agency the Bears have managed to sign Marty Booker and Brandon Lloyd. The Bears have also resigned Lance Briggs, Rex Grossman and Brandon McGowan. However many more players have been lost then gained. This offseason the Bears lost Bernard Berrian, Brandon Ayanbadejo, and John Gilmore. They released Muhsin Muhammad and traded Brian Griese to the Quarterback loving Buc's. They also didn't resign Ruben Brown or Fred Miller. Although the Draft is almost here, there is still a possibility for the Bears to sign someone of potential. Many Offensive line men are still available  for them to sign: Shane Olivia OT/OG, the old but well experienced Larry Allen OG and Chris Naeole OG could all be well valued additions for their team.

the bears need to be more aggressive when it comes to free agency. they can't rely on the draft every year to acquire new talent. they have to start taking risks on guys and going out their and spending some $$$$

For some reason the bears have never been the go getter free agent team and it has costed them in years past. They have a relatively high cap and could have brought in a player or two, but it is most likely that that extra cap will go to resigning Harris Urlacher Hester and Gould.

Thanks for the comment
